How Mom Did It

Wow, thanks. This will come in handy. I’m always on the computer converting measurements while I’m cooking.
I have similar things to these tapped to the inside of my cupboards. I have done this since I was a newly wed….a loooooong time ago. My mum did it too. I still reference them. My spice cupboard has one for the best uses of each spice. My glass cupboard has liquid measurements & dry measurements. Because this cupboard is the most used and easily accessible, it is centrally located on a corner with doors to access it, be it the kitchen or the dining area. I have quick fixes inside another, IE cabbage leaves, polish pewter. Cut cheesecake with dental floss! Smooth eggs are old, bumpy are fresh. I have a word document that will never be finished for quick fixes. Oh, have a small stain on the carpet, MIL is on her way over..? Windex and a white paper towel! I use this after my kitties throw up fur balls too. Colors can run on paper towels, it isn’t worth the risk. Vinegar is a cure all, including coughs and an awesome house & personal care cleaner too! This is a passion…can’t you tell!
